From "The First Stoevers," an article in The Lutheran, dated October 13, ???? (year unreadable): Magdalena Eberwein was the daughter of the Reverend Andrew Eberwein.
Information found online 12/29/98 indicates this man's name was Andreas, which is more in keeping with Andrew. His death date in that same document is given as March 10, 1690.
Other information gives his birthdate as 1615.
